When the Ever Given container ship blocked the Suez Canal for six days in March 2021, satellite imagery captured the world’s attention as digging crews worked to unobstruct the world’s largest shipping lane. Capella was the first to image the ship in very high resolution SAR and analysts can view granular features of the blockage such as the Ever Given’s containers and canal support vessels.
