The Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEEP) lies 20 miles northeast of the city of Qom and is the site of an underground facility under the control of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. The site is of international geopolitical interest with features such as fences and S-300 anti-aircraft batteries being deployed around the perimeter.
