This year is sure to be exciting here at Capella Space. We are making real strides as we build our capabilities of SAR technology and pursue our aggressive launch schedule in pursuit of improved commerce, conservation and security.
Today, I am thrilled to welcome Justin McNaughton as Capella Space’s Chief Financial Officer. Justin’s appointment is a testament to the company’s vision and will support our efforts to position Capella Space as an industry leader in delivering reliable information for better decision-making for our expanding customer base.
Justin brings with him more than 15 years of finance and strategy experience across the government, international, and commercial aerospace sectors. He joins us from Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, Inc., where he served for more than 10 years as the Vice President of Finance and Strategy. In this role, he led the improvement of the company’s enterprise value and operational excellence, through business insight and optimization, data analytics and pricing strategies, among other processes. Previous to his time at Kratos, Justin held a notable tenure at the Department of Defense’s Price and Cost Center and served in the US Navy as the lead Naval Atlantic Fleet Tax Center operator.
Justin will lead financial operations for Capella, collaborating with investors to guide us through the milestones ahead with superior decision-making that will no doubt support us as we continue to advance this great company and its technology.
When asked about his decision to join Capella Space, Justin shared that the company’s mission-driven stance appealed to him given his desire to lead a business positioned for accelerated growth.
