Yes. Capella can deliver custom satellites and space systems built and operated to mission specifications. We can customize the spacecraft bus, payload configuration, ConOps, ground infrastructure, encryption and key handling, data interfaces, operational playbooks, and more. Operation management can be customized or Capella-managed based on your requirements.

What's The Timeline From Contract To Operational Capability?

Capella's vertically integrated design and manufacturing enables deployment from concept to orbit in months. Our in-house capabilities across spacecraft design, payload integration, and ground systems allow for rapid iteration and fast delivery timelines.

What Revisit Rates And Coverage Can My Constellation Achieve?

Customer-owned constellations can be configured with sun-synchronous (SSO) and mid-inclination (MIO) orbits enabling multiple revisits per day globally. Our extended duty cycle technology provides up to 10 minutes of imaging per orbit, delivering significantly more collection capacity per pass and broader area coverage across both north-south and east-west regions.

What Ground Infrastructure Is Included In A Space Systems Deployment?

Ground infrastructure is customizable and can include ground stations, data processing facilities, custom data interfaces, and operational control centers. Systems can inherit the automation, tasking, and delivery capabilities of our SAR platform while enabling custom tasking policies and tailored performance. Infrastructure can be deployed as customer-owned or Capella-managed based on mission requirements.
